THE CULTURAL CENTER

222 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211

The Cultural Center is a six-acre campus that provides physical space for mission-driven entrepreneurs, non-profits, and small businesses in two buildings.  Located in the historic Titusville neighborhood of Birmingham, The Cultural Center is a unique bridge between private companies, nonprofits, and the surrounding community.

The Cultural Center is currently home to a secondary vocational school (Build Up), an automotive mechanics training program (Tune Up), a gym and athletic training facility (A4One), a nonprofit shared office space (Common Space), and a community tool library that provides construction tools and expertise to non-profits and communities (ToolBank USA).

Phase Two of The Cultural Center’s development is currently underway. Phase Two entails building out the 15,000-square-foot second building on our campus. Once complete, Building Two will be home to ToolBank USA, a community event space (EQ Event Center), a coworking space (The Hub Coworking 2), and space for the visual arts that includes gallery and studio space.
